The Redwood Empire Fair is coming this week July 30-Aug. 3. The Ukiah Shamrock 4H Club members will be hard at work showing and selling market goats, sheep, pigs and rabbits. They will also be showing dogs and horses the week before. On the creative side, members entered photographs, art, floral designs, sewing, floor displays, scrap books, Legos and window displays in the Junior Building.
2025 Meat Pen Redwood Empire Fair(Contributed)Members either bred their own animals over 100-160 days ago or purchased their animals from a breeder 30-60 days ago in preparation for the fair. They have been busy feeding, grooming and caring for their animals daily.

Rabbits, Cavy, Dairy & Meat Goats will be shown on Wednesday, July 30.
Swine, Sheep & Beef will be shown on Thursday, July 31.
Small & Large Animal Round Robin will be held on Friday, Aug. 1.
The Livestock Auction Buyer’s Breakfast will be held Saturday, August 2 at 8:00 AM following the Livestock Auction at 10:30 AM.
