Isabella Anderson from Austin, Texas, has committed to swim and study at the College of Saint Benedict, a Catholic women’s liberal arts college in St. Joseph, Minnesota. At the time of her verbal commitment, she announced on social media:
“I am extremely grateful and ecstatic to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at The College of Saint Benedict! I’d love to give a big thank you to my teammates, my family, and my coaches – I am so grateful for you! Shoutout as well to Coach Scott, and to all of my teammates who have been there since the start!! And a huge thank you to Coach Mandy for this opportunity, I am so excited!! Go Bennies!! ”
Anderson attended and swam for James Bowie High School, specializing in breaststroke. She does her year-round swimming with Austin YMCA Swim Alliance. She swam nearly all her best SCY times during her senior year in high school, including the 100 breast and 200 IM at Texas High School 6A Districts Championships. Also this spring, she notched PBs in the 50 breast and 100 free. In November at the TXLA 11&Over November Unclassified, she hit lifetime bests in such off-events as the 50 free, 200 free, 1650 free, and 100 back. Earlier in the fall she had updated her PBs in the 500 free and 100/200 fly.
Anderson kicked off the 2025 long course season earlier in the spring with new PBs in the 800 free, 100 back, 100 breast, and 50 fly.

50 breast – 33.81 100 breast – 1:10.91 200 breast – 2:36.61 100 fly – 1:03.68 50 free – 26.96 100 free – 57.87 200 IM – 2:21.51 400 IM – 5:03.80Saint Benedict competes in NCAA Division III’s Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The women finished 6th out of 8 teams at the 2025 MIAC Championships, where Anderson’s times would have scored in the ‘B’ finals of the 200 breast and 400 IM and the ‘C’ finals of the 100 breast, 100 fly, and 200 IM.
