ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Friday night, the Rochester Red Wings are partnering with the Wilmot Cancer Institute to host their annual “Survivors Night,” at Innovative Field.
Hundreds of cancer survivors and people who are currently battling the disease will take to the field before the game where they will be honored.
The Red Wings will play the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, who are affiliated with the New York Yankees. The first pitch is set for 6:45 p.m.
On Saturday, the Red Wings will also play the RailRiders, where Bruce the Bat Dog will be there fetching bats.
