ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Starting Friday, drivers on I-490 eastbound will only be able to drive in one lane. The state Department of Transportation (DOT) says the right lane on I-490 East will be closed from Platt Street to Brown Street.
That closure starts at 9 p.m. on Friday. Lanes will open back up on Monday at 6 a.m.
The DOT says the lane reduction is for bridge maintenance, but construction plans could change depending on the weather.
