ROCHESTER, N.Y. – This weekend won’t be perfect, but there will still be plenty of dry time for outdoor plans. We won’t see temperatures as hot as yesterday until early next week, and beyond that we’ll actually get a nice cooler weather pattern.
Today we’ll get up to the mid 80s with muggy air, mostly cloudy skies, and a some scattered A.M. showers mainly near the Finger Lakes as a cold front comes through. Some showers could be a bit heavy but no flood threat. Chances for showers and thunder continue this weekend, with the best chance being Saturday P.M. through Sunday A.M. No severe weather is expected, so we stay Green on the Threat Tracker. Sunday afternoon should be especially nice with plenty of clearing and a short break from humid air.
Humidity goes back up and will stay around the same level through early next week alongside warm temperatures, but then expect a break from the heat and humidity for the second half of next week.
