Sam Champion is getting showered with compliments after a throwback photo of him was shared on X recently.
The beloved Good Morning America and The Weather Channel alum saw the post and commented on it, then reposted it with a message.
Initially, just the throwback photo was posted by a fan who captioned it, "A younger @SamChampion when he was a weather person in Jacksonville, FL."

Champion saw it and reposted with a message that read, "Please hide this photo. [laughing-crying emoji] And do NOT post a then-and-now."
Well, another fan saw his note and did just that, reposting the throwback photo with a recent shot of the now part-time GMA fill-in, who often shows up when the current GMA meteorologist,Ginger Zee, is away.
They captioned the photo, "@SamChampion then and now." The weatherman responded in the comments with a facepalm emoji.
Champion, clearly playing along with the X antics, reposted the side-by-side with another message. This time, he wrote, "Well, that hurts," again adding a laughing-crying emoji.
