But one fellow rocker who was there for the band's farewell concert is now sharing a special, quiet moment that he had with Osbourne that week.
In a new TikTok video shared by KROQ on Wednesday, July 23, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan opened up about what happened when Osbourne caught him watching him soundcheck before the show.

Nobody was in the building except for the band, security, Corgan, and the other rocker he was with, so it was truly a quiet, unforgettable moment.
"We're literally watching Black Sabbath soundcheck with Ozzy for the last time, and Ozzy saw us down there and did the famous Ozzy peace sign to both of us down and smiled," he said. "That's the moment I'll always hold onto, because it was in that private moment where it was just us and the band."
Corgan was so touched by the special moment that he and the other musician he was with "both started crying."
"We couldn't believe that this magical dream of this band in our lives was coming to an end," he said.
It's a bittersweet moment for sure — but also one that there's no doubt Corgan will always treasure.
