Arienne Mandi joins Chicago P.D. for Season 13 as a new series regular in the role of Chicago P.D. officer Naomi Kerr, Deadlinewas the first to report.
According to the outlet – and this is subject to change – Kerr is a former soldier and military contractor who is said to thrive in dangerous situations. She is described as a fearless outsider who keeps her cards close to the vest.

The announcement doesn't come as a surprise, as two cast members have recently departed the CBS cop drama from Dick Wolf. The first was Shawn Hatosy, who played Deputy Chief Charlie Reid, who was killed in the Season 12 finale, a result of Hank Voit’s (Jason Beghe) handiwork. Voit made a deal with drug dealer Otero’s son Rennie (Jason Sanchez) to take out Reid because Reid was responsible for the death of Rennie’s father, and even though Voit was standing next to Reid when Reid was killed, ADA Chapman (Sara Bues) knows in her heart of hearts that Voit is responsible, and ramifications from that storyline will be picked up in Season 13.
Then, more recently, Toya Turner posted that she was exiting her role as the newest member of Intelligence, Kiana Cook, but no reason was given as to whether it was storyline-driven or Turner’s choice.

Mandi’s previous TV credits include Season 2 of Netflix’s The Night Agent and upcoming will be seen in Season 2 of Apple TV+’s Your Friends & Neighbors, starring opposite Jon Hamm.
