Numerous divers and boats were called into duty amid a water rescue at Illinois Beach State Park near Zion Tuesday.
Those crews were seen near several breakwaters in Lake Michigan on Tuesday afternoon, according to NBC Chicago’s Mike Lorber.
Sonar equipment was also seen in the water as the rescue operation continued.
There has been no official word on what triggered the search, but crews remain on the scene Tuesday.
