KANSAS City Chiefs star George Karlaftis signed a mega new contract – and then sent a rallying cry.
Pass rusher Karlaftis, 24, agreed a four-year extension worth $93 million.
The defensive end has been with the team ever since they drafted him in the first round in 2022.
He has been a key part of their Super Bowl successes.
But Karlaftis also experienced last year’s nightmare defeat in New Orleans, Louisiana.
And he’s determined to help the Chiefs get back on top of the NFL mountain.
“Chiefs Kingdom, I just signed,” Karlaftis said in a short video on the Chiefs page.
“Super excited to be back.
“Getting ready to get after it and hopefully win another Super Bowl. Go Chiefs.”
The Chiefs reported back for training camp this week.
They are determined to make a run at a fourth straight Super Bowl appearance.
Last year ended in a 40-22 defeat by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Karlaftis was part of that experience.
But he’s also a two-time Super Bowl champion having starred in their previous victories.
The 24-year-old has 31.5 career sacks in three seasons.
He was born in Athens, Greece, but attended West Lafayette High School in Indiana.
Karlaftis also played for Purdue in college.
