Affordable Luxury and All-Day Comfort from a watch band all for $50
WITHit is a well-known third-party accessory company specializing in watch bands and cases compatible with various smartwatch brands, along with cases and charging accessories for Apple products. Recently, they introduced a budget-friendly stainless steel Apple Watch band designed to complement the Apple Watch perfectly. Crafted from durable stainless steel, this band is not only scratch-resistant but also features removable links and comes with a link removal tool, making it easy to customize the fit to your wrist.
Unboxing and Setup
As with all WITHit products, the band arrives in small, well-protected packaging. Inside, you’ll find the band and a watch band link removal tool. I received an early review unit, so mine did not include the link removal tool, but according to WITHit, this tool will be included with every purchase.
The band feels very high quality being made of stainless steel gives it a premium feel right out of the box. This isn’t my first WITHit band, so based on my previous experience and knowing my wrist size, I knew I’d need to remove at least two links for the best fit. After removing the links (which I set aside just in case), I attached the band to my Apple Watch.
Currently, this band is compatible with 42mm Apple Watches (Series 1–3) and 44/45/46/49mm models (including the Ultra and Ultra 2).
General Usage
Many metal watch bands can feel heavy or snag on clothing and arm hair, but that hasn’t been an issue here. This band is lightweight at just 4 oz, and I haven’t experienced any snagging. It also feels comfortable and light on the wrist.
The clasp is also metal and feels solid, though I did notice that I occasionally had to apply a bit more force than expected to get it to lock in place. I suspect this could be a weaker clasp mechanism specific to my unit.
I wear my Apple Watch Ultra nearly all the time, even in the shower or when washing my hands. This band handles water exposure very well it dries off much faster than some other metal bands I’ve tested. The spacing between the links allows air to circulate, so the band dries out without needing to be removed.
Pricing
The WITHit Stainless Steel Y-Link Bracelet for Apple Watch is currently priced at $50 on WITHit’s website.
Conclusion
After spending some time with the WITHit Stainless Steel Y-Link Bracelet, I can confidently say this is a solid option for Apple Watch users looking to elevate their style without spending a fortune. For just $50, you’re getting a well-built, stainless-steel band that not only looks premium but also feels like it should cost double the price. I’m actually still in shock that you can get this nice of an Apple watch band for this low of a cost. The fact that it includes a link removal tool makes sizing easy for anyone, whether you’ve worked with metal bands before or not.
What stood out most to me is how comfortable the band is for daily wear. It doesn’t snag, it’s not overly heavy, and it dries off quickly when wet making it genuinely practical for someone who wears their Apple Watch all day, every day, like I do. The slight issue I experienced with the clasp may just be unique to my review unit, and it certainly wasn’t a dealbreaker.
Overall, WITHit has done an impressive job combining quality, comfort, and affordability in a single package. If you’re in the market for a stylish metal band that won’t break the bank but still gives you that high-end feel, this one is absolutely worth considering.
