Austin (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is investigating a homicide in north Austin. It happened Saturday morning in the 800 block of East Braker Lane. This is at the corner of the northbound I-35 service road.
According to APD, it received a 911 call around 2:08 a.m. Officers say one person died at the scene. Another person was taken to a nearby hospital. It's unclear at this time what caused their injuries.
By KXAN's count, this is Austin's 34th homicide of the year.
