Mrs. Alice Faye Gregory, age 80, of Carthage, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Mrs. Gregory was born June 29, 1945 in Carthage, TN, a daughter of the late James Bowman and Ruth Pauline Hiett Bowman. She married Louis Henry Gregory on September 9, 1961 and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2019. Mrs. Gregory was also preceded in death by her parents; Ruth Pauline Hiett Bowman on January 12, 2020 and James Bowman on March 12, 1997. Daughter-in-Law; Melanie Gregory on June 11, 2021. Sisters; Linda Sutton McCormick and Dorothy Ramsey.
Mrs. Faye worked as a beautician. She enjoyed her family and will be remembered as a loving mother and wife.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by Sons; Kenny Gregory of Pleasant Shade, TN, and Ray (Jazanne) Gregory of Pleasant Shade, TN. Grandchildren; Warren Gregory, Michael (Caitlin) Gregory, Ashton (Anthony) Murphy, and Marah (Jackson) Sledge. Seven great-grandchildren; Gavin Gregory, Emma Grace Murphy, Cael Gregory, James Gregory, Carter Murphy, Raylan Sledge, and Tillie Sledge.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Gregory are scheduled to be conducted from the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1PM. Interment will follow in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be at the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday from 2PM until 8PM and no Saturday after 10AM until service time at 1PM.
