One legendary actor is celebrating a major milestone today — his 85th birthday!
James Brolin, who's been married to Barbara Streisand for over two decades, turned 85 on Friday (July 18) and he's not showing any signs of slowing down.
Best known for his roles in films like Westworld, The Amityville Horror and Traffic, Brolin has had a prolific career in Hollywood that has spanned over 60 years. And despite his age, Brolin is still going strong with starring roles in shows like his 2024 Netflix series Ransom Canyon.

As for his secret to longevity? Brolin says it's all about continuing to move forward. In an interview with Today earlier this year, Brolin detailed the importance of keeping in shape as he ages, crediting his workouts with professional surfer Laird Hamilton.
"I met Laird Hamilton a few years ago and started working out with him in the pool. He beats you up bad," Brolin explained during the interview.
Looking back, Brolin says that on the first day of their workouts, he gave the actor five pound weights in each hand and put him in a 13 foot deep pool. He then had him swim from the bottom to the surface 20 times.
"After a few days, you get good at that and he gives you 10 pounds. And then 15. Then you go in the sauna, then you go in the ice bath. His theory is, if your body hates it then that's what you want to do," Brolin shared.
Brolin, who recently celebrated is 27th wedding anniversary, also received a sweet birthday message from his wife.
"Another year around the sun honey. Happy birthday. Bee xo. ?," Streisand wrote in a note on Instagram.
