It may still be summer, but a Chicago-area holiday staple is celebrating Christmas in July by teasing the release of its iconic merchandise.
Christkindlmarket, the popular German-style Christmas market featuring festive vendors, music and decor, is known for its recognizable mugs with new editions each year. While the festival is months away, organizers have revealed how residents can secure their own 2025 mug.
According to a Christkindlmarket email, the festival will host a booth Oct. 5 at Sundays on State, a block party hosted by the Chicago Loop Alliance. At the booth, attendees can reserve a 2025 Christkindlmarket Mug and other merchandise, the email said.
The items will be available for pickup later in the year at the market, according to the email. The market has not yet announced dates for 2025.
