Sellers who violated our user agreement now face hefty penalties, including permanent suspension from the marketplace.”
Kenny Johnson, better known by his nickname “Pinto Ron,” is one of the most famous Bills’ tailgaters. He relies on the secondary market to get most of his regular season tickets. But training camp is different.
Berkeley Brean: “You think people are doing it to pay for their season tickets?”
Kenny Johnson, “Pinto Ron”: “No, they’re not. They’re doing it because they see a quick buck right there. Get their tickets, put them up, see what they can get for them.”
Berkeley Brean: “What do you think ought to happen?”
Kenny Johnson: “I think the Bills or the attorney general or whoever it is in New York State could set an example by randomly selecting a few, even paying for them, and then go after who ever sold them because you can figure out who sold them.”
Brean checked several other secondary ticket sites. The only place he saw Bills’ camp tickets was on StubHub.
Bills camp starts Wednesday.
