Nick Offerman is known for being a funny man, and his recent appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark was no exception.
The actor was there to chat with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos about his new movie, Smurfs. However, the hosts couldn’t help but ask about his lovely wife, actress Megan Mullally.

It was then that Offerman revealed that he had made several fake proposals before the real deal. Mullally was in the shtick because she started it when they were dating early on, and he accidentally dropped something out of his pocket.
When Offerman went to pick it up, Mullally joked he was proposing, and it became a bit. The Parks and Rec alum took it further during a trip to Paris, where he fake proposed with costume jewelry three times.
The actor had the audience and hosts rolling laughing as he told the story. Offerman admitted that when he did propose, his wife knew it was the real deal because he was nervous and sweaty.
