Tottenham have registered their interest Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi, talkSPORT understands.
Spurs are ready to rival European champions Paris Saint-Germain for the centre-back’s signature this summer.
However, Bournemouth are not under pressure to sell the Ukrainian and would demand a substantial fee.
In fact, talkSPORT reported in June that they rejected a £55million bid from PSG for the 22-year-old.
Bournemouth have already lost his centre-back partner Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid in a £50m move.
Milos Kerkez is another defensive departure, with the Hungarian now at Liverpool following a £40m transfer.
Zabarnyi has made 75 starts in 78 Premier League appearances since signing from FC Dynamo Kyiv in 2023.
He was named as the Bournemouth Supporters’ Player of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign, in which he featured 42 times.
With a £55m already rejected, Bournemouth could bank in excess of £145million from Zabarnyi, Huijsen and Kerkez.
A move would to Spurs would make Zabarnyi their fourth centre-back signing of the summer.
Kevin Danso has completed a permanent move from Lens, whilst Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai have also penned deals.
Thomas Frank’s side have already spent around £122m on signings this summer.
