A cult-favorite coffee chain and self-described "Perfecter of Dirty Soda" is making a big splash this Shark Week with a "bold" new menu item.
To dive right into it, the new beverage takes a PepsiCo favorite, Starry Lemon Lime soda, and blends it with pineapple, coconut, blue raspberry, pomegranate, and vanilla cream before it's topped off with strawberry-flavored boba and a gummy shark for a "beachy twist."
Sounds good, doesn't it? Well, it looks even better than one might imagine. Unfortunately, it can only be found at one chain with locations across the Midwest, Southeast and out West: Ziggi's Coffee.

Ziggi's Bad Bruce Dirty Soda arrives only for Shark Week."Shark Week is a cultural phenomenon, and we wanted to dive in with something bold, epic and fun,” Brandon Knudsen, Ziggi’s Coffee CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “Ziggi’s Coffee is proud to partner with Discovery and serve up something that’s not just delicious, but a full-on experience that captures the thrill, flavor and playful spirit of the beloved pop culture moment in every sip – it’s vibrant, textural and has just the right amount of bite. We had a blast creating it and can’t wait for our guests to get hooked.”
The company is so certain customers will continue coming back for more that it's offering first-time customers a free 20-ounce dirty soda when they register online and giving away limited-edition Bad Bruce car air fresheners to guests during launch week (while supplies last).

Ziggi's Bad Bruce Dirty Soda and matching car air freshener."The Dirty Soda trend is here to stay, and we’re incredibly proud to be the first national coffee brand to embrace the explosive category and elevate it to a whole new level in a way that only Ziggi’s Coffee can," added Ziggi's vice president of operations and product development, Dani Wanner, who later explained, "the product development team’s creativity was "brought to life by the visual elements that the Bad Bruce offers, such as the color combinations of strawberry boba and pomegranate and of course shark gummies."
But unlike the ever-popular trend, and more in line with the Discovery Channel marathon, this totally jawesome release won't be around for long. After it officially debuts on Sunday, July 20 (in 20 and 32-ounce sizes starting at $5.04), fans only have through the following Sunday, July 27, to try it.
