ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Stunning end to the workweek today as high pressure dominates and cools us down to the mid/upper 70s and dries us out as well with dew points only in the 50s. A north gust of 15 MPH may be the only nuisance if you can even call it that. Plenty of sunshine to go alongside the comfortable air, and tonight it will get cool with low temperatures in the 50s.
Saturday some heat and humidity returns but nothing oppressive by any means; high temps will be in the mid 80s. Overnight Saturday is looking a little dicey though, especially near the Finger Lakes. A cold front sweeps through, causing some storms that may feature strong winds and heavy rainfall. We’ll have more updates on that later as more model data comes in.
Sunday will start off with some possible showers as the cold front passes by, then looking mostly sunny and humid.
