GREECE, N.Y. — Two men from Greece have been sentenced to 14 months in prison Thursday for their role in a $1 million retail theft ring.

James Civiletti, 34, was convicted of conspiracy to transport stolen goods in interstate commerce, while Chad Lewis Jr., 20, was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Prosecutors say between December 2021 and October 17, 2024, Lewis Jr. worked with a group of people to steal items from various stores to then sell them to New York Gold Diamond Pawn Shop, who then resold them on eBay.
The pawn shop was managed by Civiletti and owned by co-defendant Dominic Sprague, who is awaiting sentencing.

Two other suspects, Shabon Banks and Amanda Reeves, have also been convicted and are awaiting sentencing.
