PENFIELD, N.Y. — Penfield residents have the opportunity to voice their opinions on a proposed Chick-fil-A on Thursday.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Penfield Town Hall, 3100 Atlantic Ave. The proposed construction of a Chick-fil-A on Fairport Nine Mile Point Road has been about three years in development.
The planning board has tabled the proposal to provide time to address concerns about traffic congestion.
Chick-fil-A states that it has adjusted the site plan to account for traffic and pedestrian safety. The design now features a realigned pedestrian crossing, a widened north-south access driveway, additional landscaping near the building front and a second exit lane for smoother left and right turns at the plaza.
