Health advisory issued for Antioch grass fire

(KRON) -- Crews are at the scene of a grass fire in Antioch that has burned through four acres, said the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

A public health advisory was issued at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday for Oakley, Brentwood, Byron, Discovery Bay as a result of the heavy smoke.

    "Due to a nearby fire, people with respiratory sensitivities should close all doors and windows due to smoke," said Con Fire.

    The blaze started at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Oakley Road and Willow Avenue, said Con Fire. The "perimeter of the fire" was contained by 6:08 p.m.

    There are no reports of injuries so far, and there has been no word of nearby structures being threatened. No evacuation orders have been issued.

    The cause of the fire is not determined.
