Carrie Coon is celebrating her big Emmy moment.
The actress was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Laurie in season 3 of HBO's The White Lotus.
Staying true to the show's anthology format, the third season of The White Lotus introduced a new setting, plot and a mostly new ensemble. The HBO drama was centered on guests and employees at a luxury "White Lotus" resort in Thailand, and explored various themes of spirituality, self-discovery, revenge and death amidst a backdrop of financial crises, toxic friendships and hidden desires.

On the actor side, Coon's co-stars Jason Isaacs, Sam Rockwell and Walton Goggins earned nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Season 3 of The White Lotus was nominated for 24 Emmys this year, including Outstanding Drama Series.
The actress took to X to share a joyful throwback selfie on a speedboat alongside her co-stars Leslie Bibb and Michelle Monaghan, who appeared with Coon as part of the show’s toxic central friend group.

"I’m here with my whole family, so it’s very chaotic. The days are long, and it’s the kind of good, hard, fulfilling work I’ve been lucky to do," the 44-year-old actress said. "I’m very fortunate to be working right now.”
Coon had previously scored Emmy nominations for FX’s Fargo and The Gilded Age, which is currently airing its third season. The actress is in production for Harmonia, Guy Nattiv’s thriller that also stars Odessa Young, Lily James and Bella Ramsey, who was also nominated for an Emmy for their work in The Last of Us.
The Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on Paramount+ and CBS. Fans can stream all three seasons of The White Lotus on HBO Max.
