Monroe County seeks public input on Thomas Avenue road project in Irondequoit

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Monroe County is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday night to answer questions about roadway improvements in the Town of Irondequoit.

The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St Paul Exempt Firemen’s Home.

    Monroe County is planning roadway improvements along Thomas Avenue, between St. Paul Boulevard and Pattonwood Drive in the Town of Irondequoit.

    The project includes pavement rehab, new shoulders, replacements of existing concrete gutters with new curbing, upgraded storm sewer deterioration, new sidewalks, installing a flashing beacon and traffic signal upgrades.

    The construction is planned to begin in spring 2027, and end by fall 2027.
