DENVER (KDVR) — Jurors will hear opening arguments Tuesday in the case of an Aurora dentist accused of killing his wife by poisoning her protein shakes.
James Craig is accused of killing Angela Craig in March 2023. They had been married for 23 years and had six children together.

In the time before the trial began, Craig had two of his attorneys withdraw from his defense and faced new charges for allegedly trying to have a detective on his case killed.
In addition to the murder charge, he is facing two counts of soliciting people to tamper with evidence, two counts of soliciting people to commit perjury, and one count of soliciting murder.
