MIDDLESEX, N.Y. — A boat crash in Yates County has left a man fighting for his life.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, they say a boat crashed into the shoreline on Canandaigua Lake just before 8 p.m. Saturday. The crash caused the driver, Benjamin Cramer, to be thrown onto shore.
Bystanders were treating Cramer’s serious injuries when first responders got there. He was first taken to FF Thompson Hospital, but then was taken to Strong due to the severity of his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating what caused the crash.
