LSU wide receiver Nic Anderson was involved in a car accident on Friday night of last week. According to head coach Brian Kelly, Anderson is not going to miss much time for LSU – he’s expected to practice when camp kicks off in a few weeks – but he did need medical treatment immediately following the crash.
Anderson transferred in from Oklahoma and is looking for his first action since 2023, when he hauled in 38 receptions for 798 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Sooners. The redshirt junior missed the 2024 season with the Sooners after sustaining a quad injury.

The Tigers will need Anderson right away, too. LSU faces off against Clemson on the first day of the season, August 30 from Memorial Stadium in upstate South Carolina.
