DENVER (KDVR) -- Multiple crews are responding to a fire in Douglas County near the town of Louviers, and officials are requesting immediate evacuations in the town.
South Metro Fire Rescue at 2:13 p.m. said they were responding to "multiple vegetation fires" near 9844 Titan Court, then said it was "upgraded to an Urban Interface fire with multiple fires all (sic) the train tracks and spreading in open space with at least one structure threatened."
The fire has since been upgraded to a second-alarm fire, and South Metro Fire Rescue at 3:02 p.m. said they were requesting immediate evacuation for the town of Louviers.
Chatfield State Park also said several areas of the park have been closed and evacuated.
