This Bosch Stars Next Career Move Also Involves Another Crime Novel TV Adapation

Madison Lintz, who has played Harry Bosch’s daughter Maddie for the entire run of the Prime Video Bosch and Bosch: Legacy series, has found her next role and it still involves crime.

The 26-year-old actress has signed on to star in the TV adaptation of Lee Goldberg’s series of crime novels from Thomas & Mercer/Amazon Publishing, Variety reports.

In the new series, Lintz moves from the LAPD to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, where she becomes the youngest homicide detective in the history of the department when she makes an off-duty arrest of an abusive movie star that goes viral, turning her into a popular hero. Hence the promotion.

“I am beyond thrilled to bring Eve Ronin to life,” Lintz said in a statement. “From the moment I picked up Lee’s books, I knew this was a character and a story I needed to be a part of.  Eve’s determination, complexity, and resilience make her a dream role, and I am honored to take on this challenge on both sides of the camera.”

To date, there are six books in the series: Lost Hills, Bone Canyon, Gated Prey, Movieland, Dream Town and Fallen Star.  If the series follows the order of publication of the novels, her first big case after getting the job sees Eve investigating the disappearance of a single mother and her two children.

“Madison is the embodiment of Eve Ronin,” author Goldberg said of Lintz’s casting. “She brings both the raw intensity and vulnerability that define the character. Her passion for the project, coupled with her talent, ensures that the series will stay true to the heart of the books while taking Eve’s story in bold new directions.”

In addition to starring as Eve Ronin, Lintz will also executive produce the series, which at this point in time is not connected to a network.

Lintz’s previous credits include The Walking Dead and Nashville, and the 2018 Sydney Sweeney-led horror flick Along Came the Devil.
