The Greeley Police Department on July 23 will host a missing persons open house aimed at helping those with loved ones who have been reported missing.
The open house will run from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Greeley Police Department, 2875 W. 10th St., according to an agency news release.
As of August 2024, there were more than 1,200 people reported missing in Colorado, the release states.
Those missing a family member are encouraged to bring the most recent photograph taken of the missing person, as well as any medical or dental records. For biological family members, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation will be present to collect DNA through a cheek swab.
