Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz – Sunday, July 13 – 4pmWimbledon men’s final: What has been said?
The 2025 French Open final between Sinner and Alcaraz last month was a thriller and took 5 hours, 29 minutes to complete.
Alcaraz came out on top from that marathon match and we could be set for another intense encounter at Wimbledon.
The later start time means the roof may have to be closed before the match is done should it go beyond 8pm.
And two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has hit out at the prospect of that happening.
He said: “That’s a big change.
“I think what would be sad about that would be if they had to stop the match to close the roof because of light and stuff.
“It’s not right that I don’t think, but hopefully that doesn’t happen.”
