There's no doubt Priyanka Chopra's wedding dress made a major statement when she walked down the aisle in 2018 — but she says it was almost even more over-the-top.
The 42-year-old actress recently reflected on her wedding day and gave some behind-the-scenes details about designing the dress alongside Ralph Lauren. Looking back, Chopra says that it was a huge honor to work with the renown designer.
"This was only the fourth dress that Ralph had made for anyone for their weddings and three of them were his family," she shared in an interview with Vogue.

"I remember in the atelier with him, himself, working on the dress with me," she continued. "And I know I wanted it to have softness to it and a grace to it, but at the same time be sort of sexy."
But there was one idea that Chopra was not on board for. When collaborating with Lauren, Chopra says she had to fight back about the length of her tulle veil. While it ended up being an incredible 75-feet-long, Chopra says Lauren initially wanted to make it even longer.

While the designer had his reasoning for the extreme veil, the pair ended up compromising before Chopra walked down the aisle.
"Ralph wanted a hundred-foot train 'cause the walk in the palace to the altar was so long and they were like, 'We have to fill that space up,'" Chopra shared. "And I was like, 'I can't walk with a hundred feet stitched to my head.' I said 50 and then we settled on 75."
Regardless of the length of the veil, Chopra clearly looked stunning on her wedding day.
