British rocker Yungblud is putting some upcoming concerts on hold while dealing with a persistent health issue.
The singer, who recently performed at Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert with Black Sabbath, has been dealing with ongoing tonsillitis — and it's beginning to impact his voice. Yungblud shared on his Instagram stories that his doctor advised him not to perform in the coming days to avoid major damage to his health.
"My f--king tonsillitis still hasn't cleared up so I'm getting steroid treatment," he shared in the post. "I have plans to get the f--kers out as they're a weak point for me but I need to find some time as obviously we’ve been non stop."
He went on to say that while he's "ready to rock," his body is letting him down, so his upcoming shows in Liverpool and Dundee will have to be rescheduled.
"The doctor has asked me to postpone Liverpool even though I can still sing," he wrote. "I wanna say f--k it and still do it but they said I could really do damage to my voice."

While he says he'll be ready for his shows next week, he added that he hates letting his fans down. In an effort to make it up to them, including those who traveled to be at the concert, Yungblud made a generous offer to those who would still be in Liverpool.
"To make it up to you I've put some money behind the bar at @motel_bar," he shared. "If you go tomorrow night and show your ticket you get a free drink on me."
He continued, "I'm so sad I can't be there but at least you can be together and celebrate each other, as that's what Yungblud is all about. Go to the bar, play the tunes and have a good time. I love you. Again, I'm truly sorry."
Yungblud's tour is set to continue on July 13 in Bristol. His postponed shows will be rescheduled for next year.
