ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating a shooting they say happened on Dewey Avenue Friday morning.
Police say at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, they responded to Dewey Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation and 911 calls that reported shots heard. They say shortly after, a man in his 30s went to Rochester General Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Although this is still under investigation, police say evidence shows the man who arrived at the hospital was shot on Dewey Avenue.
