Alicia Silverstone joined the bandwagon of the internet’s latest craze, delivering a full-circle pop culture moment.
With all the witty and creative challenges on social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, fans embraced Sabrina Carpenter’s viral track “Manchild.”
The trend featured users performing a short dance or lip-sync to a standout line from the hit song.
The lyrics playfully called out immature men who behaved like grown-up kids (hence the term "manchild").
Interestingly, this caught the attention of Clueless star Alicia Silverstone, who used the trend to showcase her signature wit and timeless charm.
In an Instagram video, she posted a clip of herself reacting to the pre-chorus lyrics: “Stupid. Or is it slow? Maybe it's useless? But there's a cuter word for it, I know.”

Carpenter, in turn, gave her a subtle nod of approval with a simple reaction — a white heart emoji — suggesting a shared sense of humor and mutual appreciation.
Besides the pop star, fans also chimed in and flooded the comments with excitement and praise.
“Imagine situationshipping Alicia Silverstone. Pure audacity,” one wrote.
“Yas Alicia! You’re in this with us!” a second user said.
“I love your energy,” a fan commented.
On the other hand, Silverstone’s take on the viral trend connected to her character in the newly released erotic thriller Pretty Thing.
The film features Sophie, played by the 48-year-old actress, a successful pharmaceutical executive who embarks on a torrid affair with a younger man, Elliot, portrayed by Karl Glusman.
Unfortunately, he takes the romance too far, turning it into a dangerous obsession.
Released on July 4, Pretty Thing was helmed by I Am Michael director Justin Kelly. This also marked the reunion project for him and Silverstone, who starred in his 2016 crime film King Cobra.
