Major European indices are closing mixed. The German DAX extended to a new all-time high at 24639.10, but rotated back down into the close and closed near session low at 24473.07.
The UK FTSE 100 climbed to an intraday high of 8979.41 and closed at 8,975.66, marking fresh record territory.
