DENVER (KDVR) — No one was injured after a large number of Aurora police officers responded to the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center on Wednesday.
The officers were responding to multiple reports of an active shooter at the location; however, police confirmed with FOX31 there was no active shooter and no shots were fired.
No one was injured in the incident.
The Aurora Police Department told FOX31 that one person was detained and reiterated that no shots were fired. The firearm was also recovered.
A former FOX31 employee said she witnessed dozens of cop cars headed to the location at about 9:30 p.m.
