Ellie Kemper is ready to reprise her role as Erin in The Office any day of the week — especially on the new spinoff series that her husband is working on.
“Would I appear on that show if they asked me to? In a heartbeat,” Kemper, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her partnership with AT&T Business. “I would do anything.”
Kemper noted that she would “be part of any show” that OG creator Greg Daniels asked her to be on because he’s “brilliant.” (Kemper’s husband, Michael Koman, and Daniels teamed up for the new spinoff, The Paper.)
“He got me my first big job on The Office,” Kemper explained of Daniels, 62. “So I feel eternally grateful to him. I can’t wait to see the series. I would love to be a part of any comedy world that they’re creating.”

Kemper shared that one of her costars has already signed on to the show: Oscar Nuñez — whom she dubbed as the funniest cast member courtesy of his deadpan humor.
“It’s checking a lot of boxes on that front,” Kemper admitted of the new series.
After much fan demand for a spinoff, Peacock picked up The Paper for September. Much like the OG version, a documentary crew records the efforts of a dying Midwestern newspaper who is trying to make it work thanks to volunteer reporters.
So far, Nuñez, 66, is the only one to be joining the series from The Office. Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, Ramona Young, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Tim Key and Eric Rahil round out the cast.

When she’s not trying to score a ticket back into The Office universe, Kemper can be found teaming up with her former costars for a partnership with AT&T Business.
The campaign “Wake Up With CrAIg” centers around Craig Robinson who launches his small business powered by AT&T Business and with the help of Kemper, Nuñez, Angela Kinsey and Creed Bratton. Kemper, for her part, was perfect for the role as a small business owner herself — and is always game for a reunion with her costars.

On a work level, it was fun. But then on a personal level, it was just fun to see my friends again.”
