Propaganda I wasn’t falling for as a kid: Cereal isn’t on the menu at fine dining restaurants. Obviously, when you’re an adult, you can eat cereal whenever you want. There’s no one there to force you to eat your Brussels sprouts or liverwurst, and it’s certainly an option on the menu at Chez Pannise. There’s no way grown-ups are walking around eating salads for dinner every day. Yuck! Well, I was kind of right. Sure, you won’t find a bowl of Frosted Flakes on the menu at Noma, but I have been known to lazily eat nothing but cereal for dinner from time to time.

It’s one of the simplest (and tastiest) complete meals there is, and now that we’re adults, who cares if you eat the entire box in one sitting? And come on, who says Fruity Pebbles don’t belong in the same breath as haute cuisine? Little me actually might have been on to something. While we wait on the snooty upscale crowd to get with the program, the rest of us can take pride in enjoying all the cereal we want whenever the craving strikes. Whether you’re an Apple Jacks fanatic or a Golden Graham devotee, there are plenty of delicious cereals out there that suit our tastebuds perfectly fine. But what’s one more option in an already overflowing sea of sugary, sweet cereals?

This new and exciting flavor joins Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, and Krave cereals, which have all released their own version of glazed donut hole cereals.

While there isn’t a set release date yet, it’s rumored that you’ll be able to find it later this year. It looks like we might have found a new breakfast obsession.
