Two people were injured after a shooting on the Dan Ryan Expressway Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Illinois State Police, the shooting occurred on the inbound side of the highway near 43rd Street in the Legends South neighborhood at approximately 2:04 p.m. Wednesday.
At least two people were taken to local hospitals, but there was no immediate update on their condition.
State police say at least one of the local lanes is currently blocked for the investigation, which remains active on Wednesday afternoon.
