Jowell Combay will already know one of his teammates when he arrives on Rocky Top next year.
Combay announced his commitment to Tennessee. His verbal pledge comes one day after teammate Brayden Rouse joined the Volunteers’ 2026 class.

Like Rouse, Combay plays for Marietta (Georgia) Kell High School. Combay is listed as measuring 6-1, 192 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Combay is rated 3-stars, the No. 49 safety, No. 71 player in the state of Georgia and No. 635 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Combay drew notable interest during his recruitment, collecting scholarship offers from 33 programs. From April-June, he took campus visits to UT, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Oklahoma State and Mizzou.
Rouse was excited for Combay to announce as a Tennessee commitment on Wednesday.
