Jonathan Knight received an outpouring of love — including from his New Kids on the Block bandmate Donnie Wahlberg — after HGTV canceled several shows.
Knight, 56, confirmed last week that his show, Farmhouse Fixer, was not returning for more seasons. He wrote via Instagram that the network “decided not to move forward” with the show, adding, “While I’m still processing the reasons that led to their decision, Kristina [Crestin] and I are so grateful for all your support over the past 3 seasons,”
He continued: “Television has been so incredibly fun for us. We are so proud of what we created together and look forward to sharing what’s next for us.”
In the comments section, Wahlberg, 55, replied, “On to the next one! You got this. We are all ready for what you do next!”

Jonathan and Wahlberg rose to fame in New Kids on the Block alongside Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre and Danny Wood. The group is currently performing their The Right Stuff Las Vegas residency, which kicked off in June.
In addition to his music career, Jonathan began his HGTV tenure when Farmhouse Fixer premiered in 2021. Jonathan also appeared on HGTV shows such as Rock the Block and Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge before Farmhouse Fixer’s cancellation.
Farmhouse Fixer HGTVFarmhouse Fixer was one of five shows that HGTV recently pulled from the air. Before Jonathan discussed his show’s future, Bargain Block’s Keith Bynum revealed his show was canceled after four seasons.
“Everyone always told us TV is a fickle world and they are very right,” he wrote via Instagram in June. “Tv is full of a lot of great people but it’s also full of some of the worst people I’ve ever encountered. Evan [Thomas] and I have always tried hard to stick to what we know and what we’re good at which is being ourselves.”
At the time, Married to Real Estate costars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson also spoke out about their show’s abrupt end.

“Mike and I just landed back in the States after an unforgettable family trip through the Mediterranean, and we’re met with unexpected news: HGTV has decided not to move forward with Married to Real Estate,” read the couple’s joint statement. “While the chain of events leading up to this is disheartening, we are deeply grateful. Grateful for four incredible seasons. Grateful for our amazing crew and supportive fans. Grateful that our businesses continue to thrive. And most of all-grateful that we are still very much married to real estate (and to each other).”
Sherrod and Jackson continued: “There’s more to say, and we’ll share soon. But for now, know this: not all setbacks are what they seem. Some blessings show up in disguise. We’ve been here before. We’ll keep counting those blessings-and keep it moving. Stay tuned.”
Battle on the Beach and Izzy Does It were also not renewed for more seasons. The network has yet to address the controversial decision to cancel several fan-favorite shows, but HGTV has renewed Renovation Resort Showdown, Love It or List It, My Lottery Dream House, Scariest House in America and Sin City Rehab. 100 Day Dream Home, Home Town, Fixer to Fabulous and Help! I Wrecked My House were also saved from cancellation.
