ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Are you looking to quit smoking? Well, for anyone looking to quit, now you can get the chance to win some cash.
The New York State Quitline has announced “Quit & Win: Commit to 25 days,” where people can get the chance to win up to $2,500, and ten additional winners will get $250.
In order to get the chance to win, any adults 18 or older in New York State who have smoked or vaped daily since or before June 1, 2025, must not smoke or vape for the first 25 days of August.
Quitline will call contestants to ask if they have smoked or vaped during that timeframe and will be asked to mail in a sample of their saliva to verify the contestant has not smoked or vaped.
