SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A video obtained by KRON4 News shows a wild and violent scene that escalates quickly between an alleged group of anti-ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) protestors and an unmarked black van. We have not confirmed if the van in the video is connected to ICE.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning outside of an immigration courthouse in downtown San Francisco at 100 Montgomery St.
The video shows dozens of people trying to prevent the black van from leaving the area. It is not clear how many passengers are in the vehicle.
As the car drives away from the location, with several people clinging onto all sides of the car, the video shows the van weaving to and fro to apparently shake off the individuals as it races up the block. The vehicle stops, allowing a mass of people to catch up toward it before again starting up and driving through the crowd trying to block its path.
"Oh no, he's still hanging on there," can be heard by two people recording the video as they gasp while the chaos unfolds. "Did they run over him?...Look at that one person still on the car. Oh my God!"
It is not known if there were any injuries reported.
KRON4 has reached out to ICE and San Francisco Police Department for confirmation and more details on the incident but did not hear back in time for this report.
This story will be updated.
