DAK Prescott is letting the Dallas Cowboys know that he is ready to go for the NFL season.
While speaking to the media, Prescott sent a message to Jerry Jones about his status for this season.
“I’m healthy as I’ll be,” Prescott said from his football camp in Texas.
“I’ll be full go for camp. I’m healthy. Yeah, I think soon here I’ll probably get the official sign off from doc, but I’m healthy.”
Prescott participated in on-field drills during offseason camp after missing the second half of last season with a hamstring tear.
He received surgery after completely tearing his hamstring off the bone during a game.
Prescott has been spending his offseason getting plenty of training in, recently going on his annual trip with Cowboys skill position players.
He took a trip to Lake Oconee in Georgia to train with O2X, a group consisting of former military personnel.
The training involves stress management and resiliency.
“It was as beneficial as any trip has been,” Prescott said.
On the trip, Prescott got to spend time getting work in with CeeDee Lamb and his newest receiver, George Pickens.
“To be the guy that gets to get them the ball, it’s exciting as hell because you can turn on the OTA tapes and one of the guys, the ball is in the air [for] and [the] other one has got his had up celebrating already,” Prescott said.
“We’ve just got to continue to grow that and continue to make sure that that’s trending the right way.”
Prescott spoke highly of Pickens after getting to know him at the training.
“That knowledge, that involvement, it shows you a guy that loves football and that, to me, deletes a lot of the things you heard in the past about him,” Prescott said.
“Great dude, loves his teammates and excited as hell for this season.
“I know he is and I know he’s happy to be in a fresh new spot and excited for what he’s going to do for us.”

Prescott said his relationship with Lamb has grown to an even higher level after spending more time together at this point in the offseason versus last year.
