LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. – A Rochester man is facing charges for burglaries in Livingston County after an investigation by the sheriff’s office.
On July 1 and 3, deputies were dispatched to four separate addresses in the Town of Lima and the Town of Avon for reports of burglaries. When they got there, deputies learned the burglaries happened early in the morning on the same day they were reported.
Deputies say 24-year-old Christopher Montanez entered the homes, and stoel money and property.
Montanez was arrested and charged with two counts of felony burglary in the second degree, seven counts of felony grand larceny in the fourth degree, three counts of misdemeanor petit larceny, one count of misdemeanor criminal trespass in the third degree and one count of trespass.
Montanez’s bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
