In the Android world, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the flagship smartphone to get. It features a 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, and a 200MP camera setup. But ultra flagships come at a high cost: The Galaxy S25 Ultra costs $1,299.99 for the 256GB model. If you're lucky, you might be able to find it down to around $1,100.

But for Prime Day, Samsung is going all in, discounting the new Galaxy S25 Ultra down to just $950. That’s $350 off the sticker price, whether you want it in Titanium Black and Titanium Blue.

Like with every Samsung flagship, the S25 Ultra comes with Galaxy AI and built-in Gemini Live. And, of course, being a Galaxy Ultra, it comes with an S-pen, including gesture control.

In his review, David Nield called it “the best Android has to offer, but for a high price.” That’s valid, because based on the sticker price, it’s $100 more expensive than the most expensive iPhone, the iPhone 16 Pro Max. But now, with this deal, that only issue is taken care of. According to David, “This is the choice if you want the best smartphone on the market right now and you're willing to pay whatever it takes.”

Other Galaxy smartphone deals

Samsung has some other deals for Prime Day as well, offering $200 to $300 discounts on all its flagship smartphones from this year.

The regular 128GB Galaxy S25 is down to just $599.99 (from $799.99). The S25+ with 256GB storage can be yours for $699.99 (from $999.99). And if you prefer a particularly thin smartphone, you can also get the S25 Edge for $799.99 (down from $1,099.99).

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+. 

Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
