DENVER (KDVR) — Traffic is backing up on Interstate 25 heading southbound into Denver on Tuesday morning after a crash initially closed part of the roadway.
COtrip said three lanes of I-25 between CO 128/120th Avenue and Exit 221: 104th Avenue (Northglenn) are closed after a crash. Traffic was initially at a standstill, but just after 6 a.m., it appears cars are slowly moving through.
At this time, it's unclear what caused the crash or when it will clear.
If you're heading into Denver on I-25 for your morning commute, it may take some extra time. Google is reporting a 5-minute delay northbound and a 20-minute delay southbound as of 6:12 a.m.
