Amazon Prime Day is finally here and if you've read the runes you'll have probably predicted that the Kindle would be on sale.
As the e-reader is now owned by Amazon itself, the various Kindles often see huge price cuts during Prime Day and other sales periods – this year is no different.
The standard Kindle is currently at its lowest price so far this year, now costing £74.99 instead of the usual £94.99.
The Kindle Colorsoft – Amazon's fancy new colour e-reader – has also been reduced alongside older models like the Kindle Paperwhite, and even the tablet e-reader Kindle Scribe.
